I graduated from the University of Georgia in 4 years with a degree in Risk Management & Insurance. I work for an Insurance Brokerage firm called McGriff, Seibels & Williams insuring directors and officers of mostly publicly traded companies. While I do not play in the radio/television field directly, I still use many of the following skills I learned from Mr. Brist:
* Grace under pressure (from hosting Broncho Talk)
* Visual Perfection- It is very important that presentations are visually appealing
in addition to having superb content (the time spent editing video was great
practice)
* Kindness- I still say two nice things to someone who gets a bubble at our
company water tank.
* Fun- The work hard/play hard philosophy is one I continue to live by on a
daily basis.
