I graduated from Jeff in '86, working all three years at WJEF. I was also an announcer at another local radio station (WCFY) during my high school days and while attending Purdue University. After I received my degree in Atmospheric Science at Purdue, I moved to Norman, OK receiving a Masters Degree in Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma. While at O.U. I participated in various research projects collecting scientific data on tornadoes and severe weather. Currently I am a meteorologist at the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Norman, OK. Although I am not directly in the radio business anymore, I still use my experience and interest in the industry in coordinating with the media (with respect to weather), and as a hobbyist.
