Ron Ramhap 1981
Hello!
My brother and I both worked in Radio/TV at Jeff while we were in school. Rick Ramhap rick@ramhap.comwas at Jeff in 1973, 1974, 1975. I, Ron Ramhap ron@ramhap.com was at Jeff in ’79, 80, 81. Both of us are still in radio but now in the amateur part. We are both Amateur Radio Operators: Rick, N2GQR (General Class); Ron, K8RER (Technician Class).
I am located in West Chester, OH, a northern suburb of Cincinnati. I am active in Scouting with my son (Chris, KD8BUB) and am helping bring amateur radio to Scouts. We have a Troop Ham Radio Club (940 HRC at http://eteamz.active.com/bsatroop940/news/index.cfm?cat=313018 or http://www.t940hams.8k.com/index.html. We also belong to the local West Chester Amateur Radio Assoc. (WC8VOA) and meet at the former building of the Voice of America Bethany Relay Station.
Although I have worked in the IT field in the consumer products and IT outsourcing industries for 20 years, I am proud to still have roots in radio and bring some of the excitement to kids.
